What Happens On The Workshops?

H2 Studio...H2 Studio...H2 Photography - Portrait H2 Photography have been producing imagery for various markets for 10 years and Chris has been wanting to pass on things that he has learnt for a while.  We have been teaching in schools and colleges during 2013/14 and have been asked to produce some workshops for the general public and their adult customers.  With us now providing workshops and photography courses for the general public I thought it might be useful to let everyone know what is included in the session and what you can expect.....

Each workshop starts with a meet and greet session giving you chance to talk to Chris before the lesson starts and to meet your fellow photography colleagues.  Following your welcome drink and chat we start the session with an introduction to qualify what we will be covering over the session.  Most of the theory is shown on either a large screen or on a projector depending on the venue.  The workshops are as practical as possible, however we do urge students to bring a pen and notebook to help with noting down some of the essential theory that will be covered.

If you are enrolled onto a 1 Day Workshop with H2 Photography we will break for lunch and your lunch will be served to you and included in the workshop price.  if you are one of the evening courses we will break for a refreshment break.  This is a great time to recap things from the morning session and to ask questions about what has been covered.

The afternoon sessions of a 1 Day Workshop or the 2nd part of the evening workshop will start with a quick re-cap to ensure that everyone has made sense of the morning/first session and then we will continue with the workshop.

The workshops will include a lot of information and we are very aware that we want everybody to understand the content as we move through the workshops.  We ask all students to be vocal and ask plenty of questions to ensure that nothing is missed.

At the end of the session we will do a Q and A session so that if there are any points missed in the workshop or if something that you particularly want to learn hasn't been covered, we can make sure that we cover this.  During the Q and A session we will incorporate a final assessment and critique of the images taken during the session and we will print chosen images for each student* (*not available at all workshops)
